Making optimism operational

  • Identify solutions addressing nature protection, air quality, ocean revival, waste reduction, and climate change
  • Operate Launchpad, linking innovators with funders for global expansion and investment
  • Select 15 finalists and 5 annual winners to amplify their work

IBIS Rice

Conservation through community partnership

  • Grow participating farmers from 2,000 to 5,000 by 2032
  • Prevent 2 million tons of CO₂ emissions over ten years
  • Conserve 500,000 hectares of wetland and forest
  • Protect 50 endangered species, including approximately 200 giant ibises
  • Create a USD 20 million conservation enterprise by 2032

Field report — Wildlife & Regeneration

The Earthshot Prize has catalyzed over £90 million in follow-on funding and supported more than 60 environmental pioneers worldwide.

IBIS Rice has recruited over 2,700 farmers and plans production increases of 600%.
